About Us
NetTreasury was established in 2001 with the majority of the shareholding being held by management and staff. NetTreasury is BEE compliant, and more than 51% of its shareholding is currently held by BEE individuals and more than 60% BEE management control. The remaining shares are held by venture capital investors.
NetTreasury is staffed by a multi disciplinary team comprising of experts in the banking, treasury operations, global resources, corporate finance, technology and project management sectors.

Linley Scorgie Managing Director
Linley has experience in corporate finance including capital raising, investment management, international trade and project management. Linley is a member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers and holds a BCompt degree from UNISA as well as a BCom (Hons) degree from the University of Cape Town.
Lynn Aron Chief Operating Officer
Lynn has over 25 years experience in the corporate, auditing and financial institution environment. Her experience includes starting a new treasury division at a local division of a foreign bank, as well as setting up a front-end dealing system, systems implementation and training. Lynn has a CAIB and LIBSA from the Institute of Bankers and has completed the Management Advancement Program (MAP) from the Wits Business School.
Rene Hornebo Director
René Hornebo) has more than 20 years experience in the financial institution environment. René was the chief dealer at Anglo American Corporation Limited where he was responsible for the dealing on behalf of the Anglo American Group. René has a diploma in Business Administration and has completed the Management Advancement Program (MAP) at the University of Stellenbosch
Graham Nelson Treasury Manager
Graham is a financial markets specialist and has completed his Certificate in Banking through the Institute of Bankers (SA), has passed several of the Registered Persons Exams through the SAIFM (Bonds, Equities, Money Market, Derivatives), and holds a B.Com specialising in Economics from UNISA.
Jean Le Roux Systems Architect
Jean is an experienced IT professional. He has operated in corporate, as well as systems environments. His experience ranges from systems architecture and development roles, through to managing financial systems, administration and software production. Jean holds a B.Sc (Physics) from University of Pretoria
